i had mine do that when i had multiple things chraging and playin from the radio like my phone... had it as like an ipod to the radio and charge from a 12volt. if u have that just unplug it from charging. worked for me

It's an old Rockford deck and the amp is a punch 400-4, the battery is in the trunk so the rcas and power aren't close.

By the way, i picked up a pair of crossfire bmf 12s in a box today for 70$ good deal? good subs?

now we are gettin somewhere...unplug the rca from the amp and see if the noise is still there

I'll check in the morning. Let's say it doesn't make the noise anymore. What does that mean. What about it if does?

if it stops then its time to see if its inducted through the rcas or produced by the headunit...if it still does it then its coming from the amplifier

Well the amp was literally put in this morning, so probably the head unit? i guess it would make sense because it's a rockford from the 90's haha
