So yesterday i picked up 2 crossfire bmf 12" 2 ohm and i'm thinking a rockford t-1000 for them. any suggestions on different amps? also i need ideas for a new box. it's going in a 99 eclipse so i have the hatch to work with

I'm assuming you're paralleling the subs to 1 ohm...

If you can pay for the rockford i'd say go for it. it'll be clean and run forever. they're super high quality and you always get what you pay for.

if you can't, i'd recommend an audioque 1200d.

A box.. i'd say ported, around 33Hz. That always seems to be the magic number for me. Makes it loud, but still musical. for a hatch, i'd say subs up, port back would make the most sense and sounds the best. the glass will be really reflective (as far as sound goes)

those crossfire subs are probably dual 2 ohm not single 2 ohm. so you can only wire it to 2 ohms (the lowest you can go safely)
