CaptainzPlanetz Posted March 3, 2010 Report Share Posted March 3, 2010 (edited) Iv been told you have the - runs bc the frame isnt such a good ground in high power systems. not sure if thats all there is to it but its what iv heard. maybe someone else can clarify that. In some cars yes the frame isn't as good of a ground as running 1/0 for to the battery, cars that would most benefit from running this are Unibody cars as they have no distinct "frame rails", so with that being the case, it would benefit you to run a ground to the front battery in addition to grounding the the back, in most trucks though you can drill and ground directly to the Steel frame as it is a solid piece that goes to the front of the vehicle. Edit: Also to cqtama you should have a delete post option next to your quote/edit tabs under your post, unless you just like having the extra post count.......
