Amalan
no ugh i hate explaining this to everyone. bmws do not have 8000k headlights. period. they have 4300k hids well they range btwn 4000k-5000k but its a number between that and all stock hids are around that number. bmws look like 8000k because of their projectors. the lenses on them fluctuate the color of them so they look like theyre purple at some angles blue at others and white up close. on the road they look like theyre 4300k hids cause theyre pretty much completely white on the road with a purple outline due to the projectors thats why most of the street signs lit up by them look purple. its all in the projector not the actual bulb. i think 6000k looks the best because it gives you a nice white blue light and is still really bright. if youre going more for looks than output then 8000k would look better. 10000k looks purple and i personally dont like that. also if youre interested heres a heads up on a pretty good deal http://www.tech1hid.com/ http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=731185 Edited June 14, 2007 by Amalan
