Just go ahead and solder the wires onto the amp and the sub! The only way I could make them better is using a ring terminal thing on the speaker into the amp unless theres some super ninja way I dont know about Yeah. It's called making sure you have a good amount of wire in the terminal and you tighten that bolt down like there's no tomorrow! And for the sub terminals, just make sure it is nice and stiff and goes all the way through the terminal. If you can pull it out without pushing the terminals down, that's a big hint for a no go, and to do it again.
