I'm designing a new box for my BTL and since I went up to an 18 when I re-coned it my current box isn't big enough(about 3.5 cu ft net) I have it designed, but for my tuning I have a port without a bend in it. I've never put a bend in a port and just wanted to make sure that my design is right. For my tuning I need to have 27.5 inches of port length, and the wall my ports are going on are only 19.25 inches from the opposite wall of my box.boxdesignpic.png

yea i think thats what he means. its a little bit easier to just build one port so you dont have to worry about screwing one up and having differnt tuning on each side

Ok, with the port length calculator i'm using if I go with a single port that's 18x9 or 162 in of port area i'd have to bring it within 3 inches of the opposite wall of where my port comes out, but if i put a bend in it where the bend continues on I'd have to use a piece of MDF that's 1/4" long, so i want to use more port area would using 180" of port be too much for a box that's about 11 cu ft before port displacement?
