  1. I just got a 3sixty.3 and a set of T1675-s components from them, got here within 4 days and sent me a code for 20% off my next purchase, definitely going to order from them again.
  2. I'm going to buy the amp from sonic, i would have bought a d2 sub, but i found someone selling one that was d4 for cheaper than i could find it online
  3. Thanks. I was thinking it would be okay from the amounts of power i've seen people put to them, just making sure.
  4. I just ordered an SA-8D4 and currently have a punch P300-1 that I'm going to replace with a bigger amp since it won't quite match the RMS of the sub. I'm thinking about a P1000-1bd. Would this amp be too much for this sub? If so is there another amp someone would suggest? I'd prefer RF to keep as much of my equipment in my truck the same as possible. Box will be 1.03 net and tuned to 35 Hz
  5. No, the R simply denotes that the positions of the poles are switched on the batteries. No other differences.
  6. I want to upgrade both batteries in my 2002 F-250 with the powerstroke, I know the D6500 is a direct replacement, but want to go with a D3100. Has anybody put a pair of those under the hood of one of these trucks? If so what modifications if any are necessary to get it to fit?
  7. Well if it's legit 1/0 that should be fine... but if there's already a space where the wires ran then it couldn't hurt to run another one along it. Well, I thought it was 1/0, but just went out to measure it and it's 2 gauge, so that's getting upgraded soon as i order more wire
  8. Okay, should i run an additional run of 1/0 to my second battery or is the stock run of 1/0 enough?
  9. Doing the big 3 either tomorrow or sunday weather permitting, hoping that'll make a big difference
  10. the 2 punch P500-1's and a p400-4 for my mids and highs so ~1400 even if it's less it's probably going to be more than the 105a stock unit that's under the hood of my truck subs are 2 dc lvl3 15's I'm seeing voltage drops down to 12.5ish when i'm driving at 1500-1700 RPM's, i'm hoping to keep it up above 13.5
  11. Looking at getting a second punch P500-1 for my sub, but before i do I'm going to need to upgrade my alternator, i found one at o'reillys that's a factory replacement for my truck that's 215a, with my current system would it be enough to keep up?
  12. There's a way to look up on the computer what ipods were synced to it. if he just charged it tho i don't think it'll show up in iTunes it's edit > Preferences > devices tab and it should bring up a list of all devices that were synced to the computer
  13. that might not work out because your subs probably don't go down in diameter enough at 2 inches behind the baffle. Because if it's 14 inches tall that's the outside measurements you have to compensate for the thickness of the wood so you're only going to have 12 1/2 inches. your only option might be going subs up and in the back
  14. I'm looking at Fi's website and the OD for their 15" subs is 15 5/8 and a 14 1/8 cutout. I'd suggest going with 16" tall. I'm not on my computer right now so I don't have access to sketchup or the box designing program that I use, but when i get on my laptop later tonight I'll design you another one that uses the 35" of width you gave me and 16" tall but go shallower so it's only 5-6 cubic feet. Do you want the port centered like I had it or offset to one side?
  15. The dimensions you put up give you a lot more than the 2.75 cu ft of air space. After port and sub displacement with the dimensions you gave you're looking at 6.33 cu ft. would that be too big for your sub? Couldn't put the subs forward with the dimensions you gave the front side would have to be raked way too much for them to have enough room to mount
  16. search for torres under the member section and download his box calc. it'll tell you what size port you need for your air space and tell you what tuning you'll have for whatever port length you have

  18. It's going to be the same enclosure and amp but I'm going from the BTL 15 to the Q 18
  19. About 2 or so months ago I ordered a recone for my BTL and tried going from a 15 to an 18, long story short the sub didn't end up working out, I'm thinking about ordering a Fi Q 18 and just wanted to know if my Rockford Fosgate power 1051s would be too much for a Q, and if it'd be louder than my BTL 15 was?
  20. I got my BTL 18 recone in the other day and got my sub built, but the recone didn't come with a gasket and I'm looking for someone that's got one they're willing to part with. PM me if you've got one.
  21. The box on the left is the one I first designed, so you guys are saying that a design like the one on the right would be better?
  22. Ok, with the port length calculator i'm using if I go with a single port that's 18x9 or 162 in of port area i'd have to bring it within 3 inches of the opposite wall of where my port comes out, but if i put a bend in it where the bend continues on I'd have to use a piece of MDF that's 1/4" long, so i want to use more port area would using 180" of port be too much for a box that's about 11 cu ft before port displacement?
