Bass hits real hard when starting car

Whenever I start my car my bass kicks real hard, even with nothing playing, it's done this with every amp I've had, now i can also hear the bass a little bit when I turn the volume on my hu up and down, is it a bad ground on my amp or hu/rca's? Or is it something else? I don't feel like ripping everything apart if someone knows right away. <lazy>

i had the same problem, mine was because i ran 5 runs of 0 gauge wire over my rca cables, after i switched em up, the noise went away

okay. if it is making a pop noise when the amp initially turns on then your headunits turn on might be f'd up

it could also be that your rca's need to be grounded. what kind of headunit do you have?

it could also be a shitty ground connection.

yea. run your rca's on the opposite side of the car as your power and remote wire

if you have cheapo rca's they will pick up signals from the power wire
