Courtfucious Posted March 10, 2010 Report Posted March 10, 2010 I have an eclipse sw7200 I just got yesterday hooked it up pushing 500w it's got d4 coils only been played like an hour and now any time I turn it up it has a very sharp pop when thumping notes hit any suggestions... I only bought the damn thing cause it was cheap and can get me through til I can do my big build... Please help

Courtfucious Posted March 10, 2010 Author Report Posted March 10, 2010 Not enuf to bottom out at least I wouldn't think the damn sub is rated for 1000w and I am not pushing it way hard it also smelled a little funny in the car... I didn't think the coil could get that hot in that short ammount of time
