Toady Posted March 12, 2010 Report Posted March 12, 2010 Im currently looking at this battery under the hood, i currently have a Ever-Start <-- (LOL) anyway and i was wondering if a D3400 would fit in the bank of a grand am 2000 3.4L. Does anyone know if this will fit if not what size should i get. Another question will this battery make a huge difference in voltage drop

Decaf Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 it should help, for that brutus u likely need to replace front batt with the d3400 and get another for the back, that should stabilize it alot more granted you give ur alt time to charge the batts between beat cruises
EricR Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Should fit, I have the S3400 in my stock location and it fit like a glove. i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

It states on the XS Power Wattage Guide that the 3400 is good for 2500 rms as a starting battery.
