The wall can not be anymore than 27 1/2" TALL and 35" wide, 24" deep... that will give me a NICE CHUNK of air space.. So i can place to 15's side by side and one up in the middle of the 2 that are side by side to make a pyrmid. BUT that will throw off a lot i think cause the subs wont have their own chamber.. any ideas?? IM A LOW LIFE SCAMMER SO I WAS BANT....TEH HAMMA is NOT my friend
EricR Posted June 22, 2007 Report Posted June 22, 2007 most walls are common chamber.....if you are going to build a wall why not take the back seats out so you have maximum space..... i was thinking leave the 12 sitting in the box in the hole and duck tape from the bottom of the sub to the bottom of the baffle so the sub doesnt free air. would that work?

XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted June 22, 2007 Author Report Posted June 22, 2007 but if you scroll up to the pictures i have.. i want the box to fit right in between my gray walls, and up to about an inch below.. then i can put my hatch cover over the box at night, to hide my shit... and then still be able to lay my back seats down.. My fiance and i use this car for food shoppin and i take her and her borther with me when i go to comps.. I am trying to get him out of doing drugs, and showing him what being sober gets you.. i am selling him my old honda prelude that he wants to but a system in, and drive around.. he and i are gonna fix it up together.. even though he isnt my family yet til my fiance and get married, he is 17 years old.. he never met his dad, and never had a much of a boys time.. go out and hang around other people with sound systems.. he loves Kingsuv's system, and he buggs me a lot, when is the next comp.. and he is really wanting to work all summer to save up and buy a nice system.. so you know.. i am just trying to help him out, and do something for him. XtremeSPL-SCAMMER Posted June 23, 2007 Author Report Posted June 23, 2007 I started this today. I ran another 4 gauge wire, so Now i have 2 strands of 4 gauge. I also redid my ground wire, and mounted my amp to its new home on my back seats. Tomorrow, I am starting the Box build. I purchased 2 sheets of 3/4" MDF 4x8's. I found a place that beat home depot and lowes price by over 3 dollars. and since i live 20 miles from a lowes and home depot. I figure this was a hell of a deal. I spent 18.45 on each peice of MDF. I also bought 4 peices of 4" PVC pipe that i am going to cut to length for my ports. Also i had o get some wood glue and screws. I am going to try to know this box out this weekend. I am going to go to a shop on either tomorrow or sunday to have the 15" diameters cut for the speakers. Pics will be posted as soon as i can. It will be MOST likley tomorrow...
