Guest jbinn Posted March 23, 2010 Report Posted March 23, 2010 Well its not mine, its my friends... the spider basically destroyed itself and StreetStereo.com offered a full replacement and EVEN offered to let me get a different woofer for my problems (i have to pay the difference) the woofer I had was $134 so it cant be anymore than say $140... heres my options and they should all fit the already made box: JL Audio W3v3 12 (500RMS single voice coil) 1.5-2.0cubes ported Alpine TypeR 12 (500RMS dual voice coil) 1.0-1.5cubes ported Kicker L7 12 (1500RMS dual voice coil) 2.0-3.5cubes ported The L7 might cost a lot more, but I might try to get it into his head if it's worth it... I don't really want the JL audio because it's SVC (but if thats not a big deal then w/e) the alpine is basically my prime option right now. How much better you think the Type R would be over my already blown atlas? Quote

I know what Im doing lol , I just want to know what he most preferred choice is, the box is already built to spec on any 3 of those woofers... and subs being able to take power is them being powerful imo so w/e lol instead of the lessons, can I just get an opinion of what sub in that price range on streetstereo.com I should get Quote
