imupabove Posted March 24, 2010 Report Share Posted March 24, 2010 i have a pair of 12 inch RF T1's, both are dual 2 ohms. here are the amps i am looking at and that fit my budget: -MTX 1000XD ($230) -JBL GTO 1201.1 Class D 1200 ($100-200) -JBL GTO 14001 ($200-260) -ALPINE MRP-M1000 ($250) -HIFONICS BXI1610D ($200) prices are not accurate but close to that range. I don't know much about any of the amps, but at 4 ohms the brutus isn't enough, and you'd be over powering them a little at 1ohm just by looking at the numbers and price I'd say one of the JBL's but I can't find any info on them. I don't think the alpine and the MTX are 1 ohm stable, and neither of them are that great at 4ohms. and i just realized you have two subs so you can get 2 ohms, so maybe the brutus, its almost perfect.
