Getting loud in a hatch (1 x 12")

Ok guys, heres the thing.

Im building a street A setup.

Now ive done alot of research on the CRX style box.

But I still need some expert advice from you guys.

Firstlly. Im going to run a 12" solar hx from a solar 1500d (1550wrms)

In my understanding(correct me if im wrong) the sub should face upwards(towards the roof) and the port to the rear ( towards the boot/hatch) right?

Also, should the port be parralel to the sub, or would I get better results if the port is abit more toward the side/away from the sub position(if that makes sence)

Also, should I go for 1 x slot port facing the "trunk", 2 x 6" ports or 1 x 6" port.

Your help would be appreciated.

Also, if anyone has any tips on getting a street A vehicle loud, please chirp in.

Car peaks at 57ish hz

So if anyone can help me out with port area and so on....thanx

Need the box to PEAK at 57hz

Use 2 4" aero ports. in a small box invert the ports and put them next to each other not on top of eachother. This is just a setup I have seen that gets really loud so there are probably others. This was a crx with 2 12". Don't know about 1.

Well if it doesnt work, then I can just make a new port baffle and try again....
