WALL QUESTIONS!!!!

ok so im about to start a wall build and wanna know what you all think

right now i have 4 kicker cvrs 12s in a sealed prefab box

im making the wall from the second row seats to the back door:)

should i do 8 or 6 12s, or 4 12s and 2 15s

also should i just tine my back windows to 5 percent or just paint them from the inside so its just like a paneled truck ???

this is in a 2003 z71 tahoe

8 12's. youre going to have alot of room and could prob do 16 if you wanted to be creative. and dont mix and match unless you're in new york or texas, lol.

and personally i'd tint em dark so if you ever take it out atleast its somewhat "normal".

So you're saying you want to do a wall from the C pillar back..? and as far as the windows go, in most states whatever you want is legal on the backs so just do .. well, whatever you want. 5% tint, or just 0% window film. or black spraypaint. lol, kidding.

but don't do 12s and 15s, don't, mix and match subs are never a good idea. especially in the same enclosure. its just... it doesn't work. cancellation issues, performance issues... etc etc

and as far as the number of subs.. the more the merrier.. no substitute for cone area, just make sure you have the power to back it up.

8 12s would look sweet, but in all reality i'd get 4 decent 15s, spend the extra on good amps and electrical, and call it a day.
