HK-DEMON- Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 well here it goes, im trying to decide what amp to get for my Image Dynamics chameleon component set, im between Rockford Fosgate and JL audio. The Rockford Fosgate power of first choice to purchase is the T600-2, since im not really worried about fading left to right or front to back, i know this amp has the power to push my component system to past the max so it will be plenty of power since this amp is rated at 300 rms @ 2ohm and my component set is rated at 125 rms and 225 peak @ 2 ohm, what im worried about is the product, pretaining to i have never used Rockford Fosgate power before, does it have good sound clarity? is it a good product? ect.....ect.... My second choice is the JL audio HD600/4, now this amp i know it has power and clarity i have had previous experience with JL audio and till now it has never let me down. The HD600/4 is rated at 150rms @ 1.5 thru 4 ohm so this amp will be perfect for my component set. i want to try something new other than JL audio, Im SURE somebody has had experience with Rockford Fosgate power let me know what you think, oh and any suggestions are welcomed. kmalinich Posted March 27, 2010 Report Posted March 27, 2010 That RF amp will be perfecter than perfect.. because the gain will be set so low, you'll never even come close to distortion or clipping or anything.. just super super clean sound waves. I'm talking .001 THD. I vote RF any day
