J00bles Posted March 28, 2010 Report Share Posted March 28, 2010 could i get more output out of my altenator if i were to put a smaller pulley on it? you will not get more output from it with a smaller pully. the idea of a smaller pulley is simple. since it will rotate more quickly than your stock one, you will max the alternator out at a lower RPM.
