01 S-10
Personally I would do a run a of positive and ground from the starter battery and directly from the alternator. Give the current multiple paths to flow for the least resistance. And also the Big 3 of course. TDH FTW !!!
mlstrass
2 used 2200's or a new 3500.1 (4300watts) is what I'd do. 2 batts in the back, plus a good batt up front. I've had VERY good luck with DC alts as have several of the Team DOA guys...
Toady
Both are great amplifiers, personally i run the hifonics bxi2010 and it does rated power, it does a little over 2000 watts at 14.4 volts. But i've heard and experienced hifonics amps as being power hungery. Make sure you have a good electrical system. I've never ran a AQ amp but ive heard that they are not as power hungry, and they do a good deal more than rated power. Hope this helped
