And i currently have my 12" alpine type s in a 1.5^3ft. sealed box. It hits the high bass notes great, but i can barely hear it in the lows. So i am going to try and build a ported box to put it into, but i am not sure what i should tune the box to. I have never built a ported box before so this is all new for me. And it is being powered with a 360 watt amp. theres your problem. and what "360 watt" amp do you have? theres a big difference between brands and max and RMS ratings. If i turn the gain all the way up it the sub overdrives so i turn it to about mid way and it seems fine. But to answer your question im not sure what brand it is. Okay, well i guess i need to get a new amp.... So anyways im ready to build the box now and i have the supplies. So what would be good for this set-up? As far as cubic footage and tuning?
