tejcurrent Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 I bought a Springfield XD 45, I love it for target shooting but the holster that came with it sucks. Today a guy pulled a gun on me in traffic after cutting me off, I filed a police report and realized I wasn't carrying today because I can't with shorts and my current holster. Can anyone recommend a good means of carrying this pistol, or something something easier to fit in a pocket in the 600 dollar range (meaning I'll go up or down some but that's a starting point around what I have to spend right now). I will not buy a revolver, I don't like them. Thanks As far as holsters someone recommended this one: Crossbreed but I'd rather get some feedback before paying 70-100 bucks to not like it. devil4u2c Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 I used to have the xd 40, and I heard really good things about the crossbreed, but I have no firsthand experience. You could check out some of the pro-shooters sites also. I know that alot of them you have to shoot from the hip so holsters become part of the game. Quote
tejcurrent Posted April 8, 2010 Author Report Posted April 8, 2010 lol brandon, I get in and out of my car a lot and jammed in my pants just doesn't work well for me. I might just hit up some pro-shooter sites, thanks for the advice. Quote tejcurrent XS Power T3
The Wraith Posted April 28, 2010 Report Posted April 28, 2010 I use a Blackhawk CQC Serpa when I carry my Glock. It somes with a belt and paddle platform. It should work well with whatever you're wearing. Quote
