Good holsters

I bought a Springfield XD 45, I love it for target shooting but the holster that came with it sucks.

Today a guy pulled a gun on me in traffic after cutting me off, I filed a police report and realized I wasn't carrying today because I can't with shorts and my current holster.

Can anyone recommend a good means of carrying this pistol, or something something easier to fit in a pocket in the 600 dollar range (meaning I'll go up or down some but that's a starting point around what I have to spend right now). I will not buy a revolver, I don't like them. Thanks

As far as holsters someone recommended this one: Crossbreed

but I'd rather get some feedback before paying 70-100 bucks to not like it.

I used to have the xd 40, and I heard really good things about the crossbreed, but I have no firsthand experience. You could check out some of the pro-shooters sites also. I know that alot of them you have to shoot from the hip so holsters become part of the game.

lol brandon, I get in and out of my car a lot and jammed in my pants just doesn't work well for me.

I might just hit up some pro-shooter sites, thanks for the advice.

I use a Blackhawk CQC Serpa when I carry my Glock. It somes with a belt and paddle platform. It should work well with whatever you're wearing.
