SlowLoudNBangin Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 So yea i got some new 6.5" Diamond Audio D1 61i coaxials, and had a question. Heres what i wanted to do, i wanted to throw these in right next to my stock 6x9s in my rear deck, make new holes for them and all that, but my question is, if i run these speakers through an amp, will the new speakers be delayed or ahead of the stocks? the stock speakers are running off of the factory amp, im just thinking that there might be some delay with the signal having to go through the aftermarket amp and all the speakers wont be playing the same thing at the same time, maybe off a few milliseconds, but still audibe. has anyone ever tried this, i know alot of people will say to just replace the old ones with the new ones, but i just thought i could add them and be a little louder, i dont know check em out 6.5" Diamond Audio D1 61i coaxials 80wrms, got em yesterday at trader's village in arlington, they sound great in this setup which is my old power supply and indash, but couldnt turn it up all the way, only like half, cause it was pulling more current than the power supply could handle, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oXg8Wcs_LgE so do yall think it will work with the new and olds running at the same time? 9515g xa-3000s
