Amplifier ground.

So I need to relocate my amplifiers in my truck & the way I want to do them would mean my ground would be about 3 feet long, I know its supposed to be as short as possible but I cant avoid it in this situation. The amps are 4ga. power & ground, I was wondering if I could use a stinger 0 to 4ga. reducer. My thought was that the 0/1ga could make up for the added resistance due to the length of the run. Any thoughts on this?
