Kvo_8
Ok so the other night I got was installing a radio in my 03 Acura rsx, I got all the wires hooked up correctly and everything but the headunit did not power on. I thought this was odd so I hooked up the headunit to a 12v battery to see if it worked and it did. The car also had a aftermarket headunit installed before. I bought a new Acura harness because I thought it could be faulty, switched it out and nothing. I then hooked up the red power on the alpine 9886 harness with the car's red wire and I also added the yellow wire together with the reds and it powered on. Now everything works but doesn't hold my settings and such. Any ideas on what I could do? Basically the yellow wire on the car harness is dead Quote Alpine 9886 Polk Audio 6.5 Component db series Elemental Designs nine.4 JL Audio 1000/1 DC Lvl 4 15" - 3.95 cu ft/tuned to 32 hz Clarion EQS746 Stinger Voltage Meter Optima Yellow Top (Front) XS Power 1200 (Rear) All KnuKonceptz Wiring

Berto
IIRC the yellow is your constant so you could run a wire to the + on your battery and connect red to red. It doesn't save any of your settings because your constant isn't always getting power. Quote TEAM FLEX ISSUES Car: 1985 Oldsmobile Delta 88 Royal 24" Rims HU: 7" Carputer, Planet Audio EQ, iPhone.
