Never had a problem. It will even charge the kinetik up to about 13.2 overnight usually. Both my walmart ones are just sitting around now since i sold my extra batt.

pos to pos, neg to neg. plug into wall. remember to plug into the wall after its attached to the battery because there isnt an on/off switch
