Removing sheet metal in trunk

Recommended Posts

Well, probably shouldda asked first, then cut, but i built my box to the dimmensions i got that SHOULD have worked. Well, the box ended up being about an inch too tall. dont know where i went wrong so i cut some sheet metal. Saw in a thread attn loud trunks, raytard i believe it was removed the same piece on his camry, then cut his deck out and put 4 8s there. I didnt cut the deck out, just cut a lil piece that goes across the top where the trunk meets the back seat. Only thing is, the car is a 2010, am i insane?

But, after 30 min work (cut lil by lil till it fit) i got the box in. Gunna go for a ride in a lil bit probably and see how it sounds.

EDIT: Pic of said piece, while it was still there, lol.
