After using this sub tell it died I decide to do a review.

1. SQ-The sound quality of the sub was alright it lacked on low bass a bit but made up for it in high bass.

2. SPL- I ran the sub in a box tuned to

32HZ and one tuned to 40HZ The sub had decent SPL and would through stuff around in the window

3. RMS-This sub would take its RMS rating and more.

4. CLIPPING-The sub would not handle with clipping well at all and would get smelly quick at low clipping.

1. SQ 5/10

2. SPL 7/10

3. RMS 9/10

4. CLIPPING 2/10

I will add more later I'm on my phone right now and my thumbs are getting tired..

i had 2 of these in my 03 grand am they broke out my rear window (was improperly install from the last blow out with me RE's and cold as hell out) but i had the ran off a hifonics brutus bxi1608d amp and they would blow a lighter out in the front seat...i got mine from a local audio shop cause he never fixed my RE se 12"s and for a $89.00 woofer i couldn't complain but i did lock 1 up and the other is in a buddy's truck with a lil noise but still working off a pioneer 750 watt amp...but you are right they get angry and smell if u dont set them gains right on the amp.and they were rated i think @500 max i feed the @700rms each and not very nicely...lol
