psx2p Posted April 25, 2010 Report Share Posted April 25, 2010 This is the second time its happened, every once in a while the battery just drains and when we try to start it the VM reads a drop to 5V and 3amps now im stumped as to why this only happens some times and not all the times, when i drive the car i bump non stop rap and more demanding music than what my girl listens to and she never has it even 1/4th the volume i do but yet it dies when she drives it and parks it. the guy who jumped it last told her the stock alt was to small for a system. does this sound right? my amp is a Performance teknique(pos edition) 800W 4CH pushing 2 RF P3s so im not pushing much at all so why would it be that taxing on the alt?
