clean that spider landing really well and grind it down a bit i you have to, mix the two parts of the epoxy half and half

mix it to a gray color then apply it thick on the landing and clamp the spider down after centering the coils, and do a thick bead of the goop on the surround and clamp it down as well

This isnt my first recone taylor I know what I am doing. I usually use ca glue and a rubber adhesive tho. But thank you! Look at the pictures you will see a very clean basket.
