mrfraust01 Posted April 29, 2010 Report Posted April 29, 2010 my wife and i decided to build a 6 cubic foot box to put in her 2005 dodge neon sxt. we installed 2 Q power 15s in it temporarily til we can afford the system that we want which is: 2 RE 15s, a RE 1500w @ 1 ohm amp, and a kinetik battery. i am wandering if we are trying to do something insane or stupid. We broke the window (small crack) and moved it off the trAcks, and it just made the whole car go crazy... but its up to you. 2 15's would kill!! Generally they shatter after the first crack. Coming off the tracks is one thing, but cracking? They are not made like windshields. I'm gonna have to call bs on that. EDIT: Ok, maybe if the window was tinted, already cracked, partially down, extremely lucky with cabin loading, and the window came off the track just as the crack traveled preventing continued flexing...
