nicor6 Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 Hi! as the title go..Well firstly i am a noob on car audio but slowly and slowly learning from you guys and the forum! well i got a question..Soon i will be hooking up two amps in the car and i was wondering..How do i hook up another remote wire to turn on both amps?? i mean there is only one terminal behind the Head unit right?? how will i turn on the other amp?? i hope i made myself clear here! skittlesRgood Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 just split the wire. use a crimp with 2 wires coming out one end or daisy chain a wire from one amp to the other. you will also do good to know that you will want to add a relay if you add a 3rd amp or other items to that lead. Guest Posted April 30, 2010 Report Posted April 30, 2010 i have 3 things on my remote output on my headunit. my stinger volt gauge, my hifonics subwoofer amp, and my rockford fosgate mids and highs amp. alls you do is just take a short piece of wire (speaker wire will be totally fine) and connect it from the remote on one amp to the remote on the other.
