Wanna donate your PC's time for a while?

Over on Xtremesystems.org (PC and Overclocking Enthusiast website) we're having a supercomputer challenge for WCG (World Computing Grid). If you've heard of Folding@Home or Seti@Home or anything like those, that is the basics of what WCG is. Here's the offical thread: http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/announcement.php?f=144&a=75

If you are unfamiliar with what those programs are, then this is what it is in a nutshell: It is AIDS, cancer, and Muscular Dystrophy research. There are a few other projects thrown in too, but those are the main ones that most of our team focuses on (we're almost the #1 team in the WCG project btw).

If you do join, maybe put something like "[sMD]" at the front of your username to denote where you originated from as well, if you can

I should also let you know that the program is processor intensive. For most systems it will be perfectly safe to run, but there's always those 5-10% of horribly designed ones.. or that are on their last legs lol

If you register on the forums to ask questions i'm also known as "STEvil" there. Registrations are all done manually and you dont always get a notification so if you havent had one for a few days just try logging in and posting
