Need power info on a sub

I would like to know what would be the best power(amp) for this Soundstream XXX18"?. http://www.soundstream.com/AudioProducts/Subwoofers/xxx.htm

This one its going into the wagon, now i have to play with a box design. I got the sub BNB for $400, guy had two but when i got there was only one left. Thanks in advance.

its a good question the sub can take an insane amount of power on burps but for the street playing music I would'nt go over 5000 watts if you know what your doin 3k would be better

Well i have a store here in NC, i basically specialized on wheels & tires. I do audio too, but its been always streetwise, now i wanna do something bigger, already order the alternator, some more 6.5 M-class. wanna do it right and im sure im in the right site where i can get opinions & help to guide me on the build(if possible). I would like to know from the pro's what could be a good amp to shake this beast. Here some pics of that XXX.

there is some guys on here that use them and like them maybe they will chime in have you thought about the soundstream dtr 3400

1 or two of those? I ask a friend and they told me that they are not too good. But i know im in the right place to ask the questions.

How good are they?

Do you recommend it?

i would highly recommend for you to look into crescendo audio.

theyre a new company but they have excellent customer service and excel in awesome products.

i am currently running 2 crescendo audio 3kwp's.

they do 3,370 watts at 1ohm.

and 4,030 at .5 ohms.

all of those ratings are with extremely low THD percentage.

have'nt had a chance to see the 3400 in action just the smaller dtr's in action and I like them recently my buddy did the dtr1400 in a charger on 1 soundstream splx hx 15 and it slammed hard it was blurring my vision

if your not sold on the ss amps sundown would be a good choice never used em but there are alot of people on here using them and they are very happy with them
