01xtreme Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 Ok, I did the pre-order about a year ago for the 100.4D, and since I've had the amp I've always had a hard shut off (speakers popping when I shut off the car). All the wiring is secure. I've swapped in other amps to test and see if there's something wrong, but none of the other amps have done this. Is this something that should be covered under warranty, or is this something even out of the ordinary for the 100.4? I know I should have started this topic and fixed it sooner, but I've finally had enough, and would like to either fix this, or sell it. Swapping in another amp does not rule this out as all amps shut down at different rates. Swapping in another amp does not rule this out as all amps shut down at different rates. So Far I've changed out head units, and sub amps, but this is still happening. Also the pop only seems to be coming from channels 3/4. Channels 1/2 work fine. Is this something I could send it for repair under warranty? Also it still makes the sound when RCA's are unplugged, and never had anything come from my sub amps.
