3ddi31002 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 ohkay so i have a box its 47 in long and 17 high 14 in deep subs up port up that the best way this sub box would fit. anyways the port is 5x5 and 8 in deep big mistake its 20 sq in of port area haha wow dont laugh. but now how the hell can i fix this problem?? with out changing the whole top of the box. Looks nice on paper, but... fecupe2001 Posted May 4, 2010 Report Share Posted May 4, 2010 What subs?? what amount of power?? if you did that port, i guess you want to hit the lows because it´s a big box and very low tuning. if the box it´s 47" wide, you have a lot of space to work with, leave the 5" high and get 13" wide, 24" depth (L port) would give you around 36 hz and 2.2 cubic feet for each sub, that would be a very simple but nice box, unless you are using some monsters 12" subs or very tiny power, but once again, i don´t know what subs and power you use...
