i have neon underglow for my car that i am trying to figure out how to test. so i can see if they are good or bad. anybody know how. help is greatly appreciated. thanks.

1999 Honda Civic DX Coupe

Head Unit: Panasonic CQ8100U (Temporary)

Front: 6.5" Kenwood KFC-1662S

Rear: 6"x9" Kenwood KFC-6989ie

Sub: Undecided

well see the wires are not designated + or - and somebody said if i just touch one wire to the pos and one to the neg on my battery they will light up but i am not sure if that is a way to do it.

You need to figure out if they have a built in transformer in each rod or if they have an external transformer.

Its been years since I have messed with neon but I know things have changed with the use of LED's.

Isobaric - Refers to the practice of coupling two drivers together to make them act as one.

If you don't know about transformers then it might not work. You need upwards of 90 volts to make a neon work. This shit gets dangerous so becareful.

If its neon there shouldn't be a positive and a negative. If I remember rite.
