Sierra07
Are there going to be VCM's available for newer GM trucks(2007 and up) with the 2 pin alts? Edited May 7, 2010 by Sierra07

The plug receptacle on the alt is smaller than the 4 pin ones, about half the size. Also there are two prongs in it not 4, there isn't any space for more. Sierra07
Post up a pic and let me see if we have one for that application. Check out the video on this page from about :40 to 1:10. It shows an alt with the 4pin plug and they proceed to convert it to 2pin. A lot of the newer GM's use this 2pin setup. They started about 5yrs ago. 2pin plug Edited May 14, 2010 by Sierra07
Nathan @ XSpower
No probably not, because most alternators with that plug run through the computer.
