InfiniteRuckus
only thing i could think of was possible electrocution. other than that it IS a safety device which you would think was strapped down to something like the frame so that if you were in an accident, you don't "go for a ride". now that i think about it... isn't the body just sheet metal anyways? i mean how much better can that really conduct electricity? by no means is the bracket a thin sheet of metal... i fried the tips off two self tapping screws just trying to put the ground to the side of it. obviously the contact point is cleaned down to bare metal & like others have said it is rather low wattage at the moment cuz i just started getting into this as a hobby. when i decide to upgrade to something like 1800-2400 watts i will probably run a cable back there instead, but the question had me spinning for a few days. PUNKYOU007
ive heard a lot of people say the seat belt is a good place to ground. only argument against it i have heard is that it might be unsafe because... well... your loosening the bolt to a safety device lol. i think we should be worried about saltine thinking so much about riding a dick when he gets drunk. I was thinking the same thing, lol Quote Doethepaperboy "Bars of Pain" Doethepaperboy "Hero Remix" C. Arson d(-__-)b beer sucks...but i can bring some jose cuervo. Only problem is that it makes me horny and gives me the rams. So unless yall wanna fight and then have some great make up sex i will leave it home. jmitch
yal boys wild but grounding to the seat belt bracket is pretty much the same thing as grounding to the rear wheel well in the trunk of a car cept that the seat belt bracket is stronger. Like hotdog said its not bad its not the greatest place but it do work. Quote I know a lil about everything so dont call me Mr. Know it All.
