JZeFF
I just got a new amp... I'm not gonna say what brand it is... It was delivered with DHL... when i got it the box looked like it went through hell.. Opened it and sure enough one of the mounting "feet" was bent almost completely in, and the entire side plate now has a fun curve to it... I threw the mounting foot in a vice and straightened it out... but the main side plate is still bent At first i was convinced that everything was okay.. but then i noticed the sticker thats supposed to be sealed and be used as a "warranty void if seal is broken" sticker was not even in the correct place... I opened up the amp... everything on the inside looks like shit... This is what it looks like on my other amp... the "old" good one... This is what the "new" one looks like... Shit... Some random burnt looking shit.. This is the inside of where you connect the power and ground wires.. More burnt lookin stuff... Bent/uneven/dirty pieces... Broken warranty sticker... and Lastly... how good the old one looks... The main reason i'm worried that the new one is messed up is because of how much better the old one looks... JZeFF
I got it brand new from the manufacturer... And i would REALLY prefer not to throw any brand names out there until i get a chance to talk with a company representative... Any input would be appreciated though... I just feel like it's unacceptable.. what if i planned on using a plexi back to show off the guts.. i wouldn't want to... JZeFF
dont look good, put ant power to it yet I did not put power to it, and to be honest.. I don't know if i would trust putting power to it... The clear silicone thats supposed to cover the circuit board only covers like 50% of it.. and its big mounds of it.. the old one has a nice smooth layer over the entire thing... IH8PunkRok
it does look kinda iffy no response yet? from the manufacturer? if this amp is what i think it is then im kinda surprised based on who owns this place. but i have heard polar opposite reviews. JZeFF
I'm not trying to talk down any company in any way.. shit happens sometimes and im 100% positive this is a very isolated/rare incident... I'm sure everything will be worked out, but i'm just trying to make sure i am not just being irrational...
