It's rated at like 120wrms at 8 ohms. I have my 4 drivers wired in parallel so the final load is 4 ohms. I don't have any problems. It kills the lows even without a sub. Yeah, mine hits lows really hard too with the sub off. I have a 12" kicker cvr in a ported box tuned to ~32hz and it sounds amazing. It's not the cleanest but it's not sloppy at all. The sub is only for when I'm in the mood so idc..lol. It will handle my 2 15" diamond audio all day at 1 ohm Oh yea, make sure you get a sub because sony filters out the bass in the front speakers, atleast it does for mine. Nope doesnt get hot or anything, mines rated at 1 ohm, bro ran this reciever at .5 ohm all day for like a week never got hot or anything.
