HID's + Running Lights = PITA! HELP?

can you take out the bulbs? that would solve your problem

Did you actually look in your engine compartment. I know for a fact with early 2000 fords it was simply a DRL fuse in the engine compartment usually around the battery depending on vehicle. It wasn't untill 04 that ford started making DRLs into the computer programming

why not just run your low beams on all the time?

well my mom uses the van and she wont remember to turn on the headlights before shifting....if i was the only driving it shit i would mind it.

yes sir checked rear the owners manual, the fuse i mentioned before was under the dash. theres two fuse boxes. and this van is the fancy SPORT editon with the sweet spoiler, has turn signals in the mirrors too.

no its a single 9007 bulb

the HID's is just the low kind too, not he high/low HID kind. but that wouldnt matter any ways damn day time running lights will still kick on :angry:

Kinda hard to explain but I'm gonna try anyway. Take your headlight switch out, find out what wire turns the headlights on and disconnect that from the switch. Run that wire to a circuit in your fuse panel that only has power when the key is in the run position. So that way whenever the key is run, the headlights will be on. I did that with my car so I could have auto headlights.

yeah could try that too....now to find that wire. it shouldnt be hard tho
