building a clamshell

Bolts or screws, and I am planning on a clamshell also, what's your tuning or are you goin sealed?

id use bolts to mount it to the vehicle.

as for the 2x4 thing, ive seen it done before. the outside is all 2x4 with a layer or two of mdf for the inside.

Oh and as far as the frame goes you can do 2X4s and make a box to slide in so you can do most of the work outside of the van and then just screw to the frame and seal off the edge from there

i wanted to use the 2x4s as the box and just have the baffles be mdf. this way the cube will always be the same just different faces of sort.

ive seen most put mdf over the 2x4s but i was wondering if its really necessary if i put fiberglass over to make it smooth.

i will most likely be going sealed due to not knowing how to calculate a port. i usually use the internet for boxes this is my first really big build
