Great start, can't wait to see how this turns out. And please don't wait forever like I did to buy a router and circle jig. They will make life easier and put your finished product on another level.

Wow that is massive for the output, technology has came along way but huge amps still hold a special place in my heart.

Can I also get a pm on the pricing of the 3.5 k and 5k, please.

I was in keyboarding class in the 8th grade and we turned on the tv after someone told us and we watched it the rest of the day. We didn't even change classes or do any work. By the end of the day most kids had been picked up early and those of us that stayed just sat and worried like most people did.

Damn that's some nice scores bro, congrats and can't wait to see what you do when this isn't enough anymore.

Hope that surgery fixes you up so you can keep building awesome setups for our viewing pleasure.

Yeah and you sir are a beast if you plan on taking them in and out much. I had two in a kia spectra and what a job it was to load and unload by myself. And if you plan on running more than rms I would opt for the smaller box for better cone control and the bigger box if at rms so its a little more efficient on less power. I loved my XLs and hated I ever got rid of them. Also if you are going for numbers in a trunk like I did, best of luck to you and can't wait to see your build.

What's the beef? Did parts arrive as scheduled?
  14. bigjoe302boss
Yes the lex is a super sexy beast of an automobile. Hope mine got signed...order receipt #26.
  15. bigjoe302boss
I just got mine paid for also, maybe I will be ready to get amps around the time it arrives. Im sure I will be pleased with this product just from all I read before buying.

Single XL 12" saz2000d 2 yellow tops driver door open in the kick 146.7 in the trunk of a kia spectra rear firing sub and port and a 164.2 in the port (for fun)
  17. bigjoe302boss
I agree, you should call around and you will get better pricing on buying that many subs and you will get alot better customer service and equipment.
  18. bigjoe302boss
Yeah its a bigger problem than most are aware of, and yes the XLs come in with the 5 parts because they share some soft parts. The place where I work orders alot of metals from china and I thank god that we didn't order from japan.
  19. bigjoe302boss
Yeah I just got off the phone with Rob and he said next week on lvl3-4 parts and 5s the next week, and trust they always take care of their customers so we will all have something as soon as possible.

Oh and I went and got 6 sheets of wood today, I already had a few, a bucket of screws, a box of liquid nails, and some other building goodies like an hour ago.

I was only referring to the "bearded clam" and "love tunnel", and yes idea of tunnel was a steal and clam too, all of which have been done before, way before I started building. I really don't care if someone idea snags as long as its tasteful as I hope mine to be.
  22. bigjoe302boss
Ok its a budget build as far as other systems with that much cone area are considered, and if I do a 4th order is the ported chamber calculated like any other? And I really don't know about how to tune it so it has the rite bandwidth. Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.
  23. bigjoe302boss
Ok I think loading subs would be alot easier for me also since im a lil on the chunky side than the tunnel in which my bro inlaw would have to assist me (skinny f*cker). And its not a clamshell I want, its a bearded clamshell, u will see if that's what finally goes in.
  24. bigjoe302boss
Would it b wrong if my goal was to do a "babydoll trick" in the clam or tunnel? Just sayin it would be a lil different than most.
  25. bigjoe302boss
Ok I agree it will move a shit ton of air either way, but what would u guys rather see, a bearded clamshell, or a love tunnel? And yes its goin to be one of the two and nobody steal my damn ideas if u r crazy enough.
