Read...

seriously...

the first post will explain everything...

read it a few times over...

fs of the woofer is 38hz... 1130/38 = 29.736 /4 = 7.434 * 12 = 89.21 inches... thats how long the port has to be...

sd = .022 m = 34.1000682 inches sq...

34 sq inches of port 89.21 inches long...

took me less then 5 mins to calculate...

the trickest part is to make the port exactly 89.2 inch long...

easiest way to build a tline is with a pvc pipe... get one 8in in diameter, make it 89.21 inches long... mount it on one end..

edit: you dont have to be too exact... round to the nearest quarter inch

i know you already posted some specs but after reading that thread a few times i got these as my numbers:

7.43 ft (same as what you got)

but when i measured the cone to get the surface area, i got 7.25 from middle of surround to the middle of surround. and if i do the same math as he did then it should be 7.25/2 then 3.63*3.63*3.14 = 41.38 which would round down to 40sq in

am i right so far?

but the main thing im lost on is how to design this, its gonna be for my truck btw, so i was gonna do mdf not pvc pipe.

incase someone wants to help my MAX dimensions are:

Width: 53"

Length: 34"

Height: 21"

but i would prefer the width to be either at or under 35" cuz i still wanmna use my back seat

i was gonna ask a buddy of mine about helping me design today, but idk how much he knows about T-Lines, so again any help is appreciated
