5 Re Audio REx 8's or 3 Re Audio REx 12's??

Recommended Posts

i say go with the 8's they will be cool and if you tune it really low it will be insane. noone will believe there 8's. if you only get 3 of the 12's you have to wire them up or you'll give em too much juice and possibly blow them

yeah you got a point. and plus the 12's would be a tight fit because i have a small car.

EDIT* btw i am using 1/0 gauge.

i've done the big 3 and i've got a 165 amp high output alternator and i'm runnin right at about 15.1 volts and its stable as hell.

U will def be fine then... 12's IMO, the wiring will be easier. BUT the 8's would be interesting to see/hear if its done right. Really it all depends on the available space.

if your tight on space do the 8's. it will givw tyou more room to play with/ add more and upgrade. plus if you dont give the 12's enough airspace they might sound bad and get that hollow bass sound

i might go with the 8's just because it would look pretty bad ass and plus i don't listen to rap so the 8's would be amazing for rock and metal.

Yeah, rock has more punchy bass unlike rap with dragging bass lines. The 8's will def look/sound badass. Must post pics when u get the ball rollin'.
