bassl0va Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 I'm guessing the 30A fuses were blowing because you were running it at 1ohm, instead of the 2ohm it's supposed to run at. Probably, Hey OP, don't do that with fuses, it's super stupid. People have told you a good sub to get, and they have said to sell your amp and get a good one. Face it dude, that kenwood does not do as much power as you think, it may be certified, still doesn't mean you are getting 1600RMS or whatever you said. My Atomic takes 350 amps to make 3000RMS, and it's 86% efficient of something, even then, because of box rise and electrical it doesn't do 3Kw. It will only be doing 800RMS or similar.
