chapo123 Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 are the dc lvl 3's any good? i would be pushing either with a t1000.1bd at 1 or 2 ohms. havent decided. it does 1139rms at 2 ohm and 1639rms at 2 ohms. what do you guys would be louder? my brother had 2 12 type r's and they slapped pretty fucking hard. do you think 2 12 lvl 3's would be loud? do they have pretty good excursion? it would be a ported box. my brother blew his 1 type r and he was planning to have 2 but it blew so we just trying to see whats out there to try something new. we could get type rs for pretty cheap. 200ish range. how much do lvl 3's usually go for? he loves lows and doesnt really care about sq. give me your honost opinion. ive never owned dc in my life. and would be mad if they werent all that lol. i know the lvl 4's and xl's are good. but havent really heard anything about the lvl 3's. they would be getting liek 500ish rms or if he decides to do 1 ohm it would be like 7-800ish rms.
