AUDIOCON80 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 What's up guys? I have a quick question for anyone interested. I have 2 - 12" L7 D2's, 06' model. I want to build a subs up port back enclosure for them and I was wondering if you had a design already that I could use? I have no space restrictions (99' Explorer) I want it as low as the can go. Thanks for any help with this guys. [bASS TRIXX/font]
STEvil Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 T-line if you take it easy on the power. I used to run a pair of ~2001 S10L7 D4's in subs-up port-back boxes and they hammered really hard. Vehicle was a 1994 GMC Yukon GT. Ported boxes were about 2 cubes each and tuned somewhere around 35hz probably.. stock kicker boxes whatever they come at. MickyMcD - "Capable of making some serious trouser flapping volumes at where's-my-testicles frequencies, the Servo-Drives used to be fairly jaw dropping..." Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through. Hammerdown... 1% no links to outside websites, business related FB/YT pages allowed.
