We used weather stripping, pipe insulation and any thing else I could find. Everything but spray foam which would have been a lot easier but a pain in the ass to clean up. Rogers Posted November 10, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 10, 2010 it is done... well sealed anyways... ive got a little work to do trimming the foam and covering it in fabric..... all i have to say is sealing it off made a huge difference... its fucking loud... i guarantee at least 148db! -Hobby- Posted November 11, 2010 Report Share Posted November 11, 2010 Either some sturdy speaker cups that can take the abuse or remove them and seal the holes. I removed the ones in the Mazda and put all the speakers in the front. Kept the factory grills so it looks stock but the holes are sealed tight.
