Mastersound15
I have had my eye in those Fi 18" subs and was wondering about the ssd model. would they be able to handle at least 2000 watts daily? the reason I ask is because i know steve meade powers his speakers at double, on a daily basis. Anybody have any idea? jcm1689
There is a big difference from the BTL's and the ssd's. the most you would probably be able to get outta of a ssd would be like 1200 daily off or really clean power. Dale
well 2kw seems like a bit much for an ssd, but if you take an ssd with all the options (like flatwind coil), maybe you might get more power handling. I had a 15" L7 that was rated for 1000 watts rms. I whore it with 1800 rms daily...with no funny smells hope this helps
