jeyrapboy Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 Okay guys i am going to give you as much info as possible 8ga power wire and ground RF prime 500.1 2 MTX audio 12" Jackhammers, SVC wired to 4 ohms (which is what the subs are rated) My question is why the hell is the amp getting hot as hell. I mean i know its summer and all but damn. Its sitting right next to my box on the floor until i can build me a little amp rack. Any ideas on why its getting so hot? Is it normal. Dont want to fuck my shit up.

Freshman6969 Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 if you cant cook an egg on it its fine Legal TL scores145.6 on the dash sealed up in the low 40hz area with the port out145.5 on the dash sealed up @30hz with the port inless then 1k clamped on a 3.5k! Also i thought about the computer fan idea for when i build some sort of amp rack
